Class 1 Casual Driver
Location: Shepton Mallet
Shift: Zero hours contract
As a Class 1 Driver, you will:
- Master the art of load security with ratchet straps and part manual handling, ensuring every delivery is safe and secure.
- Keep in constant contact with the transport team, offering updates on your progress and ensuring our customers' expectations are consistently met.
- Experience the thrill of nights away, making each journey unique and fulfilling.
- Engage in regular training sessions to stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices, continuously improving your skills.
The rota is flexible and offered on a weekly basis, with drivers contacted in advance to confirm availability. This is a zero/casual hours arrangement to support peak periods, annual leave and unplanned absences.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to take on the open road with confidence.
- Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you're always compliant and prepared.
