In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering a safe, reliable and professional service for our customers. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
- Delivering alcoholic products from our customer base to RDCs, retail stores and warehouse locations across the UK.
- Running out‑and‑back routes, planning your journey efficiently each day to ensure timely deliveries.
- Providing excellent customer service, engaging with customers both face‑to‑face and over the phone in a professional manner.
- Maintaining regular communication with the transport team for progress updates and to help manage customer expectations.
- Managing your driving hours and working time in full compliance with all relevant legislation while working away from home.
- Attending ongoing training sessions to support your continued development and keep your skills up to date.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to take on the open road with confidence.
- Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you’re always compliant and prepared.
- Thrive under deadlines, showcasing your ability to work efficiently and effectively.
- Be a confident, polite, and collaborative team player, contributing to a positive work environment.
- Have excellent geographical knowledge, navigating routes with ease and precision.
