What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering specialist parts and equipment using a rigid Class 2 vehicle on behalf of our client.
- Working from a set delivery rota with regular routes and familiar depot locations.
- Loading and unloading the vehicle using a Counterbalance forklift truck (MHE).
- Putting stock away neatly and accurately in satellite stores, using MHE or manual handling where required.
- Maintaining regular communication with the transport team to provide progress updates and support excellent customer service.
- Attending ongoing training sessions to keep skills and knowledge up to date.
- No nights out.
What You’ll Need
- A valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence - (full in-house training can be provided if needed).
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confident, polite and a great team player.
- Good geographical knowledge and strong communication skills.
- Physically fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated due to the manual nature of the role.
