About the Role
As a Class 1 Casual Driver, you will:
- Delivering vinegar in tanker lorries to different sites locally.
- All tanks will be preloaded before the route takes place.
- You will be required to unload the vinegar once at customer site.
- Occasional Saturdays and nights out may be required.
- Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top‑notch vehicle safety and reliability.
- Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Tanker experience preferred, however full training will be provided.
- Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Confident, polite, and a team player.
- Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self‑motivated.
