Job Description Class 1 Driver Shift: 4on 4off, Days & Nights Fantastic Earning Potential: Start your shift with a competitive 16.50 per hour, with the opportunity to increase your earnings through a 2.75 per hour night premium for all hours worked between 21:00hrs and 04:00hrs. Based on a 10.25 hour shift, this offers excellent earning potential. Driver Friendly Shift Options: Join our dedicated The Range contract and enjoy a predictable 4on 4off rota, giving you stability and a healthy work-life balance, with 10.25 hour shifts. Day shifts start between 03:00hrs - 06:00hrs, while night shifts begin between 15:00hrs - 18:00hrs, helping you plan your time around work and maintain a great work-life balance. As a Class 1 Driver, you will: Complete an average of 1 to 3 delivery drops per shift in line with schedule and route planning. Ensure all loads are safely and securely fastened using straps, nets, and other securing equipment to prevent movement or damage during transit. Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability. Maintain regular communication with the transport office to provide updates on delivery progress and respond to any changes or issues in real time. Represent the company professionally at every delivery point, ensuring excellent customer service and building strong relationships with store teams. Participate in ongoing training and development, including refresher courses and updates on industry regulations, to keep your skills sharp and compliant. Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Previous experience delivering to retail or commercial sites (preferred but not essential).
