Transport Operator

Transport Operator Pallet Networks, Heathfield This is for our brand-new site in Heathfield Industrial Estate. Starting in January 2025, you will be based at one of our other depots until the opening date in February 2025. At Gregory Distribution, we are currently seeking a Transport Operator at our brand new Heathfield depot. This position will be working within the transport team and will involve all aspect of the transport administration processes and coordination of the day to day running of this busy contract. The position of Transport Operator involves: Assist the Transport Manager to manage and motivate the transport team to ensure that staff and assets are used effectively to attain maximum performance in terms of commercial contract efficiency, profit, and client service levels. Planning and organising the activities of the Transport Operation, including the transition between the customers’ peak and off-peak activity periods. Provide leadership of day-to-day transport issues, including dispatch debrief with drivers, vehicles, and work in Check freight into the depot and scan onto the vehicles.
