Job Description
We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic Transport Manager to our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our transport operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Transport Activities: Resource, organise, and supervise transport operations.
- Direct Management: Lead a team of around 25 driver/loading staff.
- Operational Management: Handle day-to-day operations across multiple transport areas in the South West, including driver route allocation and ensuring all operational and legal compliance.
- Support Senior Operations Manager: Assist with local and group objectives.
- Record Keeping: Maintain driver induction records, CPC records, licence checks, and training.
- Customer Relations: Manage customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
