Class 1 Night Trunk Driver Shepton Mallet, Pallet Networks Do you have a UK Class 1 CE Licence? If ‘YES’ we want to hear from you!! The position of Class 1 Night Trunk Driver involves: This will involve trunking from Shepton Mallet to pallet network hubs in the West Midlands and reload back to Shepton Mallet. You may also be required to cover internal trunking. Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security. Completing daily vehicle checks on your company phone. Working closely with the network hubs. Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customer’s expectations. Attending regular training sessions. Essential skills required for Class 1 Night Trunk Driver: Must have a UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence. Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Experience of curtain-side trailers is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. Be passionate about providing excellent customer service. Working to deadlines.
