The position of Milk Tanker Driver involves: Collection of milk from farms in the local area and delivery to the dairy. Ex farm and transhipment roles. Ensuring that the deliveries and collections are made on time and in accordance with our client’s requirements. Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations. Due to the nature of the locations of our customers there will be a high degree of rural driving. Attending regular training sessions. Personal Attributes for Milk Tanker Drivers: Must have a UK HGV Class 1 CE or Class 2 C Licence. Hold a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Experience of Fridge trailers is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. Be passionate about providing excellent customer service. Working to deadlines.
