IT Hardware Deployment Technician 9 Month Fixed Term Contract Cullompton To support a group wide upgrade of IT equipment, we have a vacancy for an IT Hardware Deployment Technician to join the Gregory Group Technology Team on a 9-month fixed term contract. The position of IT Hardware Deployment Technician involves: Owning and delivering the build and deployment of various IT hardware including PCs, Laptops, Mobile Phones, Tablets, Printers and Warehouse Scanners. Carrying out device builds, following standard build processes and carrying out robust quality control. Deploying devices to sites and users – migrating users from old hardware onto new, including migration of files and settings and ensuring user satisfaction – both in-person on sites across the UK as well as remotely. Making changes to user and device configuration and group memberships using either Active Directory, Intune, Entra ID or other similar tools. Supporting users post-migration with any queries or concerns and providing standard IT desktop support services. Maintaining highly accurate records of hardware issued in our asset management database. Refurbishing and cleansing equipment for reuse or recycling.
