We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Logistics team at Greggs as a Transport (Admin) Coordinator.
In this role you will ensure the smooth and compliant execution of daily transport operations by managing driver performance, vehicle compliance, and operational delivery.
The Transport Administrator plays a key role in co-ordinating the transport operation efficiency, safety, and service excellence.

About the role
- This is a full-time role (42 hours per week)
- Working 4 on, 4 off, including some Sundays and nights on a rota
- We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role

What you'll do
- Execute the daily operational plan effectively.
- Allocate driver resources and manage shift schedules.
- Microlise telematics monitoring and administration.
- Tachomaster administration.
- Liaise with planning teams to support efficient execution of transport plans.
- Coordinate vehicle delivery and collections for servicing.
- Communicate with service providers for repairs and inspections.
- Address driver queries and provide timely resolutions.
- Conduct post-shift Driver Debriefs.
- Perform Gate Checks to ensure compliance and readiness.
- Maintain accurate records of defect reports, service sheets, and purchase orders.
- Conduct Safety Conversations with drivers and team members.
- Perform hazard spotting and report unsafe conditions.

- Excellent knowledge of Drivers' hours regulations.
