We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Test team at Greggs as a Performance Test Analyst.

About the role:
- This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered
- 12 Month Fixed Term Role
- We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
- The base location for this role is Greggs Innovate House in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, however remote workers will be considered
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate closely with SAP Technical, Development and Functional teams to identify non-functional requirements of the system
- Define the success criteria for non-functional testing, including identifying performance benchmarks
- Identify master and transactional data requirements to facilitate non-functional testing, and work with the relevant teams to prepare this beforehand
- Scripting and execution of test cases, both manual and automated.
- Peer reviewing test cases to ensure scripting standards and good test coverage is being met.
- Utilise tools such as JMeter and Tricentis Tosca to help facilitate test case execution
About you:
Essential Skills:- We are looking for someone that is highly skilled in testing who has worked as a tester for at least 2 years
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Be very knowledgeable in testing fundamentals (such as Risk-based testing approach) and 'shift left' testing principles
- Proficiency with test management tools (e.g. Microsoft Azure DevOps, JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).
- Experience with scripting and execution of non-functional testing, specifically performance, volume, load and stress testing.
- Experience using Non-functional testing tools such as JMeter, Loadrunner, NeoLoad etc.
- Values collaboration and teamwork, has a desire to contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing team
- Are self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience of analysing information and issues to identify current and potential problems and develop and implement workable solutions
- Enjoy being part of a hard-working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together
- Are supportive of an inclusive culture – recognising and valuing that difference is good
- Want to develop and are ready to work alongside some great people and have lots of fun on your Greggs journey
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement).
- Experience with other SAP products (e.g. EWM, CAR, IBP)
- Experience with Tricentis Tosca or other module-based automation tools.
- Understanding of retail and supply chain business processes within SAP environments.
- Have an ISTQB Foundation or other qualification
