We are seeking an experienced Technology Delivery Manager to lead Greggs through the next phase of our digital transformation. Managing a team of delivery leads within the agile delivery practice, you will support our in‑house digital product teams to deliver a roadmap of mission‑critical digital products that enable millions of customers & colleagues to engage with Greggs in a fast, friendly and frictionless way every day.

About the role
This is a full‑time role, however flexibility in this will be considered. We know that having a work‑life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role. The base location for this role is Newcastle Upon Tyne.
What you'll do:
- Support the Head of Technology Engineering in developing and continually evolving Greggs’ technology delivery strategy and ways of working
- Line‑manage a team of Delivery Leads, driving the agile transformation strategy and embedding consistent, high‑quality delivery practices across product teams
- Champion and nurture a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the organisation
- Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to teams and stakeholders on agile principles, frameworks, and best practices
- Oversee end‑to‑end delivery across product teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, priorities, and delivery timelines
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams to identify, manage, and mitigate dependencies, risks, and delivery impediments
- Partner with Delivery Leads to build high‑performing, self‑organising teams through ongoing support and development
- Empower teams to make decisions, resolve conflicts effectively, and continuously improve their delivery processes
- Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement, automation, and streamlining of delivery workflows
- Define, track, and use key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of agile delivery practices
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their needs, priorities, and expectations
- Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders to promote collaboration and secure support for agile initiatives
About you:
- Have significant experience as an Agile Delivery Lead or similar, leading organisation‑wide agile transformations and delivering complex programmes of work
- Bring established people leadership experience, including line management of Delivery Leads or comparable delivery leadership roles
- Possess strong, practical knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, and know how to apply them effectively across different delivery contexts
- Are a confident and inspiring leader, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate teams and engage senior stakeholders
- Have a proven ability to drive change, influence at all levels, and foster a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to navigate complexity
- Communicate with impact, showing excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, and the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Ideally hold relevant agile certifications (such as Certified Scrum Master), or equivalent professional experience
- Have experience working within a software development or technology‑driven environment (desirable but not essential)
