We have a fantastic opportunity to join the People team at Greggs as a Resourcer.

As a Resourcer you will support the recruitment process by sourcing, engaging, and qualifying candidates across Retail and Supply chain.

You will work closely with Recruitment Managers, internal and external customers to ensure a strong talent pipeline and an excellent candidate experience on hard to fill vacancies.

About the role

  • This is a full-time role (35 hours per week) however flexibility in this will be considered
  • We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
  • The base location for this role is Greggs House, Quorum Business Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne
  • What you\'ll do

As Resourcer your key responsibilities will be

  • Use job platforms and internal systems to source potential suitable candidates.
  • Build and maintain talent pools for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Review CV's and applications, assessing candidates against role requirements and skills
  • Proactively call candidates to promote Greggs roles and benefits
  • Maintain accurate records and use Tribepad our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and company recruitment policies.
  • Work closely with Recruitment Managers and Hiring Managers to understand role requirements.
  • Ensure clear communication throughout the recruitment process to manage expectations and timelines
  • Maintain a strong focus on delivering a positive candidate experience at each stage

About you

  • A proven ability to provide excellence in customer service
  • The ability to multi-task and work with multiple priorities calmly and at pace
  • Strong skills in planning, prioritising, and organising
  • You are self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative
  • Previous experience in candidate sourcing, utilising job boards, conducting proactive searches and engaging candidates through calls
  • IT skills including Microsoft 365; Share Point, Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Teams
  • Enjoy being part of a hard-working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together
