We have a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement Data and Process Manager to join us on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. As part of the Procurement Policy & Process team, you’ll play a key role in shaping how procurement operates across Greggs. You’ll lead on procurement data, systems and processes, ensuring they are efficient, well‑governed and fit for a fast‑moving business.
Working closely with Procurement, Finance, Sustainability and IT, you’ll help simplify ways of working, drive automation and ensure high‑quality data supports decision‑making and compliance.

About the role
This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered. We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role. The base location for this role is Greggs House, Quorum Business Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
What you'll do:
- Own and continuously improve procurement systems and P2P processes across SAP and associated buying platforms, ensuring compliant and consistent use
- Monitor adherence to procurement processes, identifying and resolving non‑compliance through robust controls and collaboration
- Partner with IT to deliver system and process enhancements that improve user and customer experience
- Own procurement data standards and data integrity, resolving issues and embedding continuous improvement
- Design and maintain procurement reports, dashboards and trackers to deliver accurate, timely insight for stakeholders
- Support business intelligence and finance reporting by providing procurement data expertise and alignment
- Drive automation and digital improvements using Microsoft 365 and modern tools to reduce manual, spreadsheet‑based processes
- Maintain strong governance, audit trails and controls, supporting Internal Audit and managing regulatory submissions (e.g. EPR and PRN)
- Provide guidance, training and leadership to procurement colleagues and the wider business, deputising for the Procurement Policy & Process Manager when required

- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience of analysing information and issues to identify current and potential problems and develop and implement workable solutions
- Able to engage and work collaboratively with other teams to make improvements to processes and influence stakeholders at all levels
- A good communicator, able to operate at all levels clearly and concisely with the proven ability to communicate complex data terminology so it is understood by the data owner and the business
