The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered. The base location for this role is Innovate House, Balliol Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

We have a fantastic opportunity to join the IT & Business Change team at Greggs as PMO Analyst. In this key role, you'll support effective delivery across our IT & Business Change portfolio, ensuring strong governance, clear reporting and consistent ways of working. You'll work closely with Business Change Managers, Programme Governance teams and Project Managers to embed best practice, drive continuous improvement and help ensure successful delivery of business and technology change.

What you'll do:

  • Oversee governance activities across the IT Business Change Portfolio and Next Generation SAP Programme
  • Maintain portfolio level and programme level reporting including: Roadmaps and delivery milestones, RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), Change control, Resource forecasting and utilisation, Budget tracking and ad hoc reporting
  • Ensure projects and programmes align with business goals and strategic direction
  • Create and drive a PMO strategy striving for business maturity in governance
  • Maintain and continuously improve PMO standards, templates, frameworks and guidance for both the Portfolio and the NGS Programme.
  • Compile and prepare key reporting packs such as: Ops Board reports for IT & Business Change, Portfolio dashboards and performance summaries, Engagement and success stories for Business Change communications, KPI reporting at project, programme, and portfolio levels
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance governance controls and strengthen delivery performance
  • Work closely with Business Change Managers, Project Managers, Programme leadership and cross‑functional teams to support delivery activities
  • Provide support for planning activities, dependency mapping, milestone alignment and reporting deadlines
  • Facilitate clear communication across teams, ensuring updates flow effectively between stakeholders

About you:

  • You will fit right into this role if you have experience working within a Project/Programme/Portfolio Management environment
  • Knowledge of project management tools, techniques, governance disciplines and delivery frameworks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced IT skills including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Experience in PMO functions, portfolio governance, or programme assurance
  • Are a strong team player, able to build good working relationships at all levels
  • Are results focused with strong planning, prioritising and organisation skills
  • Can multi‑task and work with multiple priorities at pace, delivering results within tight timescales
  • Have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience of analysing information and issues to identify current and potential problems and develop and implement workable solutions
  • Able to engage and work collaboratively with other teams to make improvements to processes and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Enjoy being part of a hard‑working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together
