We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Shop Maintenance team at Greggs as a Shop Maintenance Engineer.

About the role:

This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered. We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role. The base location for this role is Grimsby.

What you'll do:

As Shop Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out preventative, routine and emergency maintenance work on equipment in our shops
  • Ensuring all on-site mechanical and electrical equipment is working as effectively and efficiently as possible
  • Carrying out regular maintenance work, day-to-day repair of shop equipment, electrical repairs and modifications
  • Ensuring machine downtime is minimised whilst repairs are carried out for a group of approximately 80 shops

About you:

You will fit right into this role if you can demonstrate:

  • 17th Edition Electrician Qualification (ideally)
  • Significant experience in installations, electrical repair, fault finding, preventative maintenance and continuous improvements
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and carry out a varied workload in all trades, on both equipment and property
  • A Full UK Driving Licence is essential
  • Knowledge of Food Safety & SHE
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility in working hours (as may be required to work different shifts each week or asked to work overtime)
  • IT skills including Microsoft 365; SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
