About the role
Join us as a Transport Supervisor and you'll be a key part of the Greggs team making sure that our tasty products are delivered to our shops on time for our loyal customers. You'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the distribution of our products, as well as effectively executing the transport plan, including scheduling routes and drivers, vehicle availability, meeting cost and customer KPIs. You will be leading a great Transport team, making sure Driver training is up-to-date and health, safety and food hygiene standards are followed. You'll support the Transport Manager; driving departmental improvements and developing proactive transport approaches.
We'll provide you with the best training including annual CPC, Tachograph, DVWC, Slow Manoeuvre and The Highway Code. Greggs will also pay for the ongoing costs of your Driver CPC, medicals and Tachograph card renewals.

About you
Ideally, you'll have previously worked as a Transport Supervisor, you'll also need:
- Experience in managing, developing and motivating teams
- A Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Category C+E/Class 1 or Category C/Class 2 driving licence for at least 1 year (with a maximum of 6 penalty points)
- An understanding of vehicle legislation, Drivers' hours and Tachograph legislation
- Knowledge and experience of chill chain, temperature-controlled delivery operation and daily fresh operations
- Prioritisation skills enabling you to effectively manage a fast and evolving workload for yourself and your team
- Be supportive of an inclusive culture - recognising and valuing that difference is good
