About the role
Join us as an HGV Class 1 Driver and you will be the face of Greggs on the road, making sure that our tasty products are delivered to our supply sites and distribution centres, where we make and pack the nation's much loved Greggs products. Day-to-day, you'll provide deliveries and collections to and from our network of stores throughout the UK in multi-temperature loads. You'll be driving one of our modern fleet of refrigerated HGVs, fitted with the latest technology and safety features, such as telematics and vehicle cameras.
Greggs is industry leading when it comes to our fleet, technologies, and training our Drivers. We place the highest of importance on ensuring our Drivers and fleet are safe and compliant. We'll provide you with the best training, including annual CPC, Tachograph, DVWC, Slow Manoeuvre and The Highway Code. Greggs will also pay for the ongoing costs of your Driver CPC, medicals and Tachograph card renewals.

About you
Ideally, you'll have worked as a HGV Class 1 Driver within the food industry. You'll also need:
- To have held a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Category C+E/Class 1 driving license for at least 6 months (with a maximum 6 penalty points)
- An up-to-date Driver CPC card and training
- Excellent knowledge of Drivers' hours regulations
- To meet the shift availability requirements for this vacancy
- Be supportive of an inclusive culture - recognising and valuing that difference is good
- Experience of making bulk deliveries would also be beneficial but isn't essential.
