An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Test Analyst to join our IT Test Team at Greggs. This is a permanent role, supporting the wider Test Team in delivering high-quality testing services across a range of projects and business initiatives. We are looking for an experienced and adaptable testing professional who is comfortable working across multiple projects, can quickly develop an understanding of new solutions and business domains, and has a strong background in delivering effective testing outcomes. The successful candidate will be proactive, collaborative and confident working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with Greggs stakeholders, developers and 3rd party systems integrators to gain full understanding of the requirements to be delivered.
- Utilising existing testing tools for full end to end test of the system.
- As part of the scrum team give test estimates for scoping, planning and execution of tests.
- Creation and execution of test scripts including running full regression tests and sharing results and risks with key stakeholders.
- Logging issues within our defect tracking tool and ensure collaboration with the team to resolution.
Qualifications:
- You will fit right into this role if you:
- Have a strong foundation in testing practices, including BDD with Cucumber, end-to-end automation using Playwright, CI/CD integration (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and basic performance testing with JMeter.
- Are proficient in API testing (REST/SOAP) with tools like Postman and SoapUI, have a strong grasp of HTTP protocols and authentication methods (OAuth, API keys), and are skilled in validating JSON/XML payloads, headers, and response times.
- Have experience with Azure Service Bus and messaging systems, including queues, topics, subscriptions, and dead-lettering, and are skilled in using tools such as Service Bus Explorer and testing asynchronous message flows in event-driven architectures.
- Have strong SQL skills for backend data validation, with an understanding of NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB and MongoDB where applicable.
- Are a strong team player, able to build good working relationships at all levels.
- Have proven high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Have experience of, and the ability to, multi-task and work with multiple priorities calmly and at pace.
- Are self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and use your own initiative.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience of analysing information and issues to identify current and potential problems.
