About the role
Join us as a Production Supervisor
You\’ll be a key part of the team responsible for producing the nation\’s much-loved Greggs products. You should have a passion for quality and motivate the production team to ensure the best products are made while following the correct processes and procedures.
You will work with a close-knit team in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where timescales and targets are important. Your responsibilities include supervising the food production process, ensuring tasks are completed to high standards in line with legal requirements. You will collaborate with the Production Manager on operational planning for current and future production needs.
It\’s essential to keep your team motivated, engaged, and fully trained, contributing to making Greggs a great place to work. Working in food production may expose you to flour and dust. You will also be expected to work in various shifts as required.
Essential Experience and Skills
- Managing, developing, and motivating teams
- Experience in food production and manufacturing
- Knowledge of HACCP and Health and Safety standards in a food environment; Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification is preferred
- IT skills, including Microsoft Office and SAP systems exposure
