About the role

Join us as an Operational Trainer and you'll play a key role in supporting the development of our supply colleagues to meet the relevant standards. You'll also carry out regular assessments to maintain operational excellence. You'll deliver Manual Handling Training and assessments, maintain accurate training records and support the site with preparation of training data for internal and external audits. You'll also be responsible for creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures. Working in a food production environment means that sometimes you'll be exposed to flour and dust. You may also be expected to work in a chilled/frozen environment. We'll provide you with all the training and support you'll need to see your career rise.

About you

You will have worked in a similar environment for a period of at least 12 months. You'll also need:

  • Experience in training or coaching
  • Have a good understanding of Health and Safety and Food Safety and compliance standards
  • Familiarity with SOPs, SWCs, SWPs, and CICs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to motivate people
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
  • To be supportive of an inclusive culture - recognising and valuing that difference is good
