About the role

This is a full-time role (35 hours per week) however flexibility in this will be considered. We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role. The base location for this role is Innovate House, Balliol Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE12 8EW.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and support a team of Planners to deliver excellent service to our shops and customers
  • Monitor team performance through regular 1:1s, coaching, quality assurance checks and development plans
  • Manage attendance, absence, wellbeing and conduct in line with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure reactive and planned maintenance work is planned, logged and progressed in line with agreed service levels
  • Support the escalation and resolution of reactive maintenance issues, ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with Engineers, contractors, retail teams and internal customers
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, service delivery and team performance
  • Review workloads and resource allocation to ensure operational demands are met
  • Support training, onboarding and continuous development across the team

About you:
