Join us as a Production Team Leader and you'll be a key part of the Greggs Team responsible for making and packing the nation's favourite Greggs products. You'll have a passion for quality and will follow all the correct processes and procedures to ensure the best products are made and our customers are satisfied. You'll work with a great, close-knit team, in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where timescales and targets are important, leading and motivating the team to make sure the day-to-day production and packaging operation runs smoothly. You'll play an important part in producing our famous products, ensuring they meet the highest of quality standards, whilst following health, safety and hygiene processes. Working in a food production environment means that sometimes you'll be exposed to flour and dust. You will also be expected to work in a chilled/frozen environment.
About You
- Ideally, you'll have previously worked as a Team Leader in a similar environment.
- To be comfortable standing for long periods of time, lifting and carrying.
- To be comfortable with handling, preparing and baking food.
- To have pride in the quality of the products you produce.
- A good knowledge of health, safety and hygiene processes.
- Be supportive of an inclusive culture – recognising and valuing that difference is good.
- Experience of Microsoft IT packages and SAP systems would also be beneficial but isn't essential.
- If you're enthusiastic, reliable, comfortable with working shifts that could include nights, weekends and bank holidays.
