We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Enfield Production team at Greggs as a Production Manager.

About the role

This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered. We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role. The base location for this role is Enfield, EN3 7XJ.

What you'll do:

  • Support Supervisors and team leaders to lead and motivate a team of production operatives.
  • Develop Supervisors and Team Leaders to achieve Succession Planning.
  • Coach and inspire your department, including employee engagement and best practice in the manufacturing industry.
  • Working with the Site Manufacturing Manager to ensure we meet labour and ingredient targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement for your department and team.
  • Working to the values and be an effective team member who contributes cross functionally to initiatives where appropriate.
  • Play your part in meeting the site objectives and ensure these objectives are translated into Supervisor, team leader and operative PDRs.
  • Work with your team to embed the new competencies and bring them alive in the day to day Enfield operation.

  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience of analysing information and issues to identify current and potential problems and develop and implement workable solutions.
  • Able to engage and work collaboratively with other teams to make improvements to processes and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Are a good communicator, able to operate at all levels clearly and concisely with the proven ability to communicate complex data terminology so it is understood by the data owner and the business.
