We're looking for a Supplies People Manager to join our Kettering operation at a hugely exciting time. This unique role combines leading the people operations at our existing distribution centre with playing a pivotal part in the successful launch of our brand-new site at Symmetry Park.

Working closely with the Site Leadership Team, you'll drive and deliver our People strategy while also leading the colleague transition to the new facility. With significant growth ahead, including high-volume recruitment and organisational development activity, this role will be instrumental in shaping the future of our expanding supply network. About the role

This is a full‑time on‑site role, working Monday to Friday. Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation will be required on occasion to support the needs of the business. The base location for this role is: Greggs National Distribution Centre, Symmetry Park, Kettering, NN14 1FQ.

What you'll do:

  • Lead people operations across two sites throughout a major transition, helping the move to becoming a fully functioning single‑site operation and ensuring people‑centred support throughout the change.
  • Drive and deliver our people strategy and plan, championing people initiatives to successful implementation.
  • Partner with the site leadership team to build a high‑performing team.
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding activities to support organisational growth.
  • Deliver strong, fair and inclusive colleague relations.
  • Support the site leadership team to drive colleague engagement.
  • Manage ER, performance, succession, D&I and wellbeing initiatives.

About you

You will fit right into this role if you are looking for highly experienced, talented individuals with drive, who can demonstrate:

  • Demonstrable experience in a HR management role (operational environment preferred).
  • Strong change management experience.
  • Effective communicator, decision‑maker and influencer, across all levels.
  • Self‑motivated and able to plan and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365.
  • Enjoy being part of a dedicated team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together.
  • Supportive of an inclusive culture, recognising and valuing that difference is good.
  • CIPD is desirable but not essential, your passion and experience matter most.
