Join us as a Site Services Supervisor and you'll be a key part of the Greggs team responsible for ensuring that our products are made in the safest, most hygienic environment. You will work with a close‑knit team in a fast‑paced, high‑performance setting where timescales and targets are important. As a supervisor, you will lead your team to keep the site and equipment clean, so our loyal customers receive the highest quality of products.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the general hygiene operation at the site, including specialist cleaning operations such as canteen facilities, external site facilities, and pest control.
  • Provide management and guidance to ensure your team has a broad understanding of all safety, health, hygiene and quality procedures and legislation.
  • Create an environment of continuous improvement to remain competitive.
  • Work in a food production environment where you may be exposed to flour and dust, and work in a chilled/frozen environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing, developing and motivating teams.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of chemical usage in hygiene operations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of food hygiene (ideally holding a Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification).
  • Supportive of an inclusive culture – recognising and valuing that difference is good.
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and comfortable with working shifts that could include nights, weekends and bank holidays.
