Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in the Water Industry

They provide a full range of design, construction and commissioning services and are active across many sectors including Renewables, Gas Networks, Water, Energy & Utilities, and Asset Management. The company is responsible for planning and development of some of the most significant projects in the energy sector throughout UK and Ireland.

If you’re looking to work in a supportive environment where your contributions matter, this role is for you.\\n\\nResponsibilities:\\n\\nYour key responsibilities will include:\\n\\n * Design of projects from conceptual phase through to project completion e.g., energy projects including renewables, pipelines and installations (gas, oil, water or wastewater), industrial buildings & utilities.\\n\\n * Statutory requirements for new developments such as planning, fire cert and DAC applications, IPC license requirements.\\n\\n * Building Control compliance and design in accordance with building regulations.\\n\\n * Design of new and modifications to existing gas and water installations.\\n\\n * Design requirements for energy projects such as Solar, Hydro, CHP and Power Stations.\\n\\n * Design of other energy infrastructure related projects.\\n\\nCandidate Requirements:\\n\\n * Engineering degree (Hons bachelor’s degree) in Mechanical, Process, or a similar discipline relevant to the specification above.\\n\\n * 3+ years post-graduate and relevant design experience.\\n\\n * Experience in the Water Industry\\n\\n * Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.\\n\\n * Good academic record\\n\\n * Full clean driving license and own transport required.\\n\\n * Fluent written and spoken English is essential.\\n\\n * Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.\\n\\nRemuneration:\\n\\nThe salary package includes attractive renumeration and bonus with included benefits like year-on-year salary reviews, Employee Assistance programme, Hybrid Working (remote and office) & Flexible Working Policy, Group pension scheme with employer contribution and Staff wellness programmes.\\n\\nThe finer details will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
