- Collaborate with internal supply chain colleagues to support demand forecasting, stock management, and pricing decisions, ensuring continuity of supply and commercial alignment.
- Build strong professional relationships with nutritionists, formulators, and key decision-makers across feed mills and pre-mix customers, operating effectively across both direct and indirect routes to market.
- Coordinate with the marketing team on relevant market-facing activities, including participation in industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows.
- Liaise with quality and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with EU legislation and to support product trials and technical validation in collaboration with supplier principals.
- A degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Agricultural Science, or a closely related discipline (BSc or MSc), with typically 3–8 years’ post-graduate experience in a technical or commercial role within the animal nutrition or feed sector.
- Practical experience gained within a co-op, agri-merchant, feed business, pre-mix company, or feed additive supplier, with exposure to customers such as feed mills or pre-mixers.
- Demonstrated experience working with one or more of the following areas: premixes, mineral blends, compound feed, aqua feed, or livestock feed ingredients.
- Strong commercial aptitude, supported by credible technical understanding and the ability to build effective professional relationships.
- A self-motivated, proactive individual who is comfortable working independently in the field, travelling extensively, and contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently within both the UK and Ireland and to attend our client’s offices regularly for meetings with support staff and colleagues.
