We are a well-established, family-run dealership in Northern Ireland. Due to continued growth within our Aftersales Department, we are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts & Service Advisor to join our team. This is a front-facing role combining service advisory responsibilities with parts support, offering variety and an opportunity to play a key part in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will act as a key link between our customers and the workshop team, ensuring vehicles are booked, repaired, and returned efficiently while also supporting parts enquiries and supply. You will deliver professional, friendly, and knowledgeable service that reflects our dealership's reputation for quality and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and manage service bookings (in person and by phone)
- Prepare job cards and liaise closely with the Service Manager and technicians
- Provide accurate estimates and explain repair work clearly to customers
- Order, source, and supply parts for workshop and retail customers
- Ensure warranty procedures are followed in line with MG and Maxus standards
- Upsell additional work and promote service plans where appropriate
- Monitor work progress and keep customers informed throughout
- Process invoices and take payments accurately
- Maintain accurate records using the dealership DMS system
- Support the Parts Department with stock control and supplier coordination
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a motor trade Service Advisor or Parts Advisor role preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using dealer management systems and Microsoft Office
- Commercially aware with the ability to identify sales opportunities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Team player
- Full UK driving licence
