We have a fantastic opportunity to join our UK Team within our Frozen Division working within our Technical Team at our site in Boston, Lincolnshire. As Technical Systems Administrator, you report to the on-site Quality Manager.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Support the Quality Manager in completion and reporting of KPI’s including trending of microbiological results, customer complaints, ATP trends etc.
  • Complaints – logging of customer complaints onto the business customer complaint portal, carrying out investigations into complaints and responding to customers as required.
  • Issuing supplier non-conformances as and when required.
  • Management of Bizzmine (customer complaint portal) for B2B non-conformances received to the UK, issuing NCs and replying to the customer(s).
  • Ensure customer interface internally and externally are managed professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to customer audits and visits, leading in areas of expertise.
  • Conduct audits as part of the internal audit team.
  • Support the technical team by ensuring the Audit templates on IAuditor are in line with the COP and BRCGS guidelines.
  • Monitor and control the Internal and External Non-Conformance logs.
  • Pest Control – manage the online system, schedule etc., working in conjunction with the contractor ensuring that the system is in line with relevant customer and legal requirements.
  • Calibration – manage the system and ensure site remains compliant with agreed requirements.
  • Routinely conduct scheduled traceability exercises and instigate any non-conformances and corrective actions as necessary.
  • To operate in a safe working manner and support the business on continuous improvements relating to health, safety and the environment.
  • Involvement with projects and additional ad hoc duties as requested.
  • General admin duties within the technical team e.g. issuing/updating documents as part of site QMS.

Person Specification:

  • Excellent IT Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365).
  • Effective communication skills across all levels.
  • Understanding of Quality Principles.
  • Experience of working within a Technical role in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in regulatory compliance, within food manufacturing and retailer codes of practice.
  • Able to work within a team and also alone to complete objectives.
  • Proactive and self-motivating.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet the specific timeframes.
  • Must be flexible to meet business needs.

UK and occasionally international travel will be required to other company sites, suppliers or to industry events. The role may involve extended hours or weekend work during critical periods.
