Your Role as a Care Assistant

You will provide essential support to elderly and vulnerable people in their own homes, helping them remain independent and comfortable.

Duties Include

  • Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Preparing meals and supporting nutrition
  • Administering or prompting medication
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Light housekeeping (cleaning, laundry)
  • Supporting independence, dignity and wellbeing

No two days are the same, but every day is rewarding.

Pay and Benefits

  • £14.50 per hour (weekday rate)
  • £15.00 per hour (weekends)
  • £17.70 per hour (bank holidays)
  • Paid mileage at 31p per mile
  • Pay progression based on length of service
