Your Role as a Care Assistant
You will provide essential support to elderly and vulnerable people in their own homes, helping them remain independent and comfortable.
Duties Include
- Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Preparing meals and supporting nutrition
- Administering or prompting medication
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Light housekeeping (cleaning, laundry)
- Supporting independence, dignity and wellbeing
No two days are the same, but every day is rewarding.
Pay and Benefits
- £14.50 per hour (weekday rate)
- £15.00 per hour (weekends)
- £17.70 per hour (bank holidays)
- Paid mileage at 31p per mile
- Pay progression based on length of service
