Do you want to make an impact on children's lives and be part of an amazing team? We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join us in our mission to shape young minds and build a better future!

As an Early Years Educator you will:

  • Promote positive relationships with parents, children, and colleagues;
  • Innovate with activities, and constantly challenge your children's learning and development
  • Work effectively and cooperatively alongside our tight-knit team and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the children at all times.
  • Support the team in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS and our own Greenwood Philosophy.
  • Work on a shift pattern Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with a 1-hour lunch break per day.
  • Go out for Forest School days to Wick woodland, on the Hackney marshes

We also offer:

  • A competitive salary of £28,000 per annum,
  • 35 days holiday a year (including bank holidays and nursery closure between Christmas and New Year),
  • Paid training, including 2 inset days per year, funding, and paid time off for Forest School/Leadership training to members of staff that show strength and dedication in these areas.

  • 50% off childcare fees, plus another 10% for every year you work with us

Successful applicants will:

  • Be someone who is genuinely passionate about education and changing children's lives.
  • Have a relevant early years qualification (level 3 or above),
  • Have previous experience working with children,
  • Have a positive outlook (someone who always sees the glass as half full).
