Recruiter: The Supply Register Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work across primary and secondary schools in Northamptonshire?

The Supply Register is the proudly appointed supply management partner to Greenwood Academies Trust.

We are currently recruiting dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary and secondary academies in Northampton and Corby.

Whether you are looking for full-time routine, part-time flexibility, or day-to-day supply work, we have roles tailored to your schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with diverse SEND needs (including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties).
  • Assisting class teachers in creating an inclusive, safe, and positive learning environment.
  • Helping students
    engage with the curriculum and access learning at their own pace.
  • Supporting individual behavior plans and promoting positive behavior management.

Requirements

  • SEND Experience: Proven experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
  • Childcare Experience: Prior experience working with children in an educational, care, or youth work setting.
  • DBS: Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new DBS check.
  • Flexibility: A adaptable, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting young people of primary and secondary age.
