Greenwich Waldorf School is located alongside the green spaces of Greenwich and Blackheath in South East London. We are an independent school with a dynamic, progressive and contemporary Waldorf curriculum for pupils aged 3-18. Learning is experienced, explored and savoured to create a joyful education and a lifelong love of learning. Intellectual curiosity, confidence and compassion along with critical thinking and a passion for life characterise our pupils.

The primary focus of the Class Teacher is to teach and guide a class through the Steiner-Waldorf methodology, its curriculum guidelines and development approach. The Class teacher is responsible for holding the class and will be expected to teach the Main Lesson curriculum. The primary responsibility for teaching the class, and the first port of call for pastoral matters in the class, will be with the Class teacher, supported where appropriate by specialist subject teachers. The Class teacher will be part of a team of teachers working in the Lower and Middle School.
