Greenwich Waldorf School are seeking to appoint a reflective and enthusiastic Kindergarten Lead Teacher, who is inspired by Steiner Waldorf education. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful, happy school which treasures its historic buildings and traditions. Greenwich Waldorf School is located alongside the green spaces of Greenwich and Blackheath in South East London. We are an independent school with a dynamic, progressive and contemporary Waldorf curriculum for pupils aged 3-18.
The primary focus of the Kindergarten Lead Teacher is to lead and nurture a kindergarten group of young children in accordance with Steiner-Waldorf pedagogy, child development principles, and the school’s curriculum guidelines. The Kindergarten Lead Teacher creates a warm, rhythmic, and nurturing environment in which young children can develop physically, emotionally, socially and creatively through play, imitation, movement, practical activity, storytelling and artistic experience.
