A leading hedge fund is now looking to recruit an Equity Analyst into their team. The role will join a very successful team of fund managers and analysts who have a superb track record in investing. The role will work on the following:

  • Active Identification of investment opportunities for the fund
  • Identification of events which can trigger a gain or loss in value of a stock
  • Recommending buy and sell side trades to the Portfolio Managers
  • Carrying out detailed financial modelling and analysis of investment opportunities
  • Monitoring existing positions
  • Active member of the investment team

They are interested in people who will have a background as follows:

  • Buy side equity analysts
  • Sell side analysts with a leading investment bank or one of the top research firms
  • Investment Banking Analysts ACAs with the leading accounting firms
  • 2.1 or 1st class degree
  • Real interest in financial markets
  • Technically excellent, with a real interest in forensic analysis of company accounts
