Job Description

VP Strategy level, Global Financial Services Group

We are now working with a global financial services group. They are now looking to add a VP strategy level professional.

In this role you will lead the development of strategic initiatives and effectively help to drive strategic execution both within strategy and outside of the function.

In this role you will:

Lead strategic projects for the bank globally

Work on both group blue sky strategy and commercial strategic initiatives

Assessing structural long-term opportunities for the business

Lead strategic reviews to improve quality of strategic planning

Interface with external parties e.g., consulting firms, as needed, to gather thought leadership and assess industry developments

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

VP/ Engagement Manager level

Extensive experience within a Strategic Management or Consulting

A proven track record of driving conceptual change is essential

Financial Services experience is essential

Excellent problem solving skills; able to understand and break down problems, shape insights / new concepts, and define actionable next steps and objectives
