VP Strategy, Global Financial Services Group We are now working with a global financial services group. They are now looking to add a VP strategy to one of their key international divisions. In this role you will lead the development of strategic initiatives and effectively help to drive strategic execution including track periodically progress against agreed KPIs, and communicate the recommendations / insights with colleagues both within strategy and outside of the function. Responsibilities : – Lead strategic projects assessing structural long-term opportunities for the business – Work with Head of Strategy on strategic reviews and to improve quality of strategic planning, management information, accountability and governance – Ensure proper and timely consideration of market, industry and competitor analysis (including benchmarking) to support planning and performance management activities Interface with external parties e.g., consulting firms, as needed, to gather thought leadership and assess industry developments To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: Extensive experience within a Strategic Management or Consulting environment playing a leading and influential role A proven track record of driving conceptual change is essential Financial Services experience is essential Analytical rigor and accuracy for modelling, qualitative and quantitative analyses as well as the ability make your findings readable/understandable for executive level stakeholders Excellent problem solving skills; able to understand and break down problems, shape insights / new concepts, and define actionable next steps and objectives
