We are now working with a big name global investment bank based in London. They are looking to add an associate to their Consumer and Retail investment banking team. The team is one of the most successful in the sector and has worked on some high-profile deals in the last few years.
This team works on corporate finance and M&A advisory for blue chip international clients. In this position, you will work on advising clients in the consumer and retail sector on M&A, JVs, disposals, raising finance, and strategic advisory, working with senior level clients on deals, financial modelling, and valuations preparation of transaction documents.
They are looking for people at the Associate (1) or (2) level. They are interested in people who will have a background as follows:
- Investment banking associates from other firms
- 3rd year analysts up for promotion this year
- Excellent deal sheet
- Retail and consumer experience is useful although they will consider excellent M&A bankers from other sectors
