Director, Group Corporate Strategy, Global Bank, London
We are now working with a global investment banking group. They are now looking to recruit a Director level strategy manager.
This role reports into the Head of Strategy and has the opportunity to drive strategic initiatives that shape the strategic agenda and to deliver maximum value for the group shareholder.
In this role, you will
- Lead the development and execution of key strategic initiatives
- Identify key trends, opportunities and issues using the bank’s and external sources to provide actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Effectively communicate the recommendations/insights with colleagues both within Strategy and outside of the team
- Work with Associates/Analyst and alongside Directors (as required) on strategic initiatives across problem definition, analysis, development of recommendations and execution planning.
Qualifications
- To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Background from a tier one strategy consulting firm or the corporate strategy function of a bank. You will at the Director level/ junior partner/ equivalent
- Financial services experience.
- Highly analytical and able to draw insights from a complex set of data sources.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to reduce complexity and navigate ambiguity.
- Experience of executing strategic projects, and delivering quality, insightful output for senior audiences.
