A global asset management firm, with one of the top names in investing, is now looking to recruit an Equity Research Associate to their London team. The role will join an incredibly successful team focused on European equities. The fund takes long and long/short positions. The overall purpose of the role will be to analyse stocks across countries and industries, and will be responsible for in-depth company and industry analysis as part of a highly collaborative team.

On a daily basis you will:

  • Carry out detailed equity research based on stock specific research, management meetings, market data and company filings
  • Generate equity research reports and views on companies, markets and themes
  • Generate successful long and short investment ideas
  • Monitor your investment portfolio
  • Build financial models
  • Make buy and sell side recommendations
  • Be an integral part of a decision making team

The role is suitable for someone with the following background:
