We are now working with an incredibly successful global asset management firm. They are now looking to recruit a Buy Side Equity Research Associate into their European Equities team. The role is based in London. The fund takes a long only and long/ short view on investments.
In this role, you will work on:
- equity analysis of new investments for the fund
- carrying out detailed pieces of research of companies and preparing investment recommendations
- financial modelling and commercial analysis
- discussing your investment ideas with the portfolio managers
- helping with the overall portfolio management of the fund
The role is aimed at someone with a background as follows:
- equity analysts from buy side firms
- equity analysts from sell side firms
- Investment bankers
- CFAs/ other research professionals
- genuine interest in financial markets
Ideally, you will be fluent in at least two languages. Due to the level and compensation, we estimate the role will probably be suitable for people with roughly 2-3 years research experience.
