We are now working with a major asset management firm, who are looking to recruit a Credit Analyst into their London team. The role will focus on investment and sub-investment grade debt issued by corporates.

In this role, you will advise the PMs on their investments in bonds and loans, working on investments across a multi-billion dollar portfolio. Day to day this will involve:

  • Idea generation of credit investments to make sure clients get the best returns possible
  • Writing detailed pieces of credit research on credits traded on public markets
  • Working closely with PMs on investments
  • Keeping PMs up to date with their current holdings
  • Credit research and financial modelling
  • ESG analysis

They are interested in people who will have a background as follows:

  • Credit analysts with buy and sell side firms
  • Leveraged finance bankers

You will probably be at the Associate/Manager/Junior VP level right now with 5-8 years experience as a general guide and excellent credit research skills on corporates.
