We are now working with a leading global financial services group. They are looking to recruit a Corporate Development Associate into their team.
The Opportunity
To support, and lead aspects of, the origination and execution of Corporate Development opportunities including Mergers & Acquisitions, in line with their corporate and financial strategy. The type of work you will do will include:
- Identify, research and evaluate M&A and corporate development opportunities
- Prepare financial and valuation models for acquisitions
- Preparation of investment case materials covering strategic, financial and execution considerations
- Work on deal execution for the acquisition or disposal and project management of deals
- Remain abreast of key industry developments, including current / rumoured M&A situations
Experience
They are interested in meeting people who will have a background as follows:
- Investment banking professionals, probably at the 3rd year analyst to associate level
- Excellent deal experience
- Strong financial modelling skills
- Very good M&A experience. Financial services deal experience would be useful although is not essential for the position.
