Job Description
We are now working with a global business, who are looking for a Group Corporate Development Analyst.
As a Group Corp Development Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving the company’s long-term growth strategy. You will support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) initiatives, corporate strategy projects, and other strategic transactions. Working closely with senior leadership across various business units, you will help identify, evaluate, and execute growth opportunities, while also contributing to post-merger integration efforts and strategic planning processes
Your responsibilities:
- Assist in executing M&A transactions, including due diligence, financial analysis, and transaction structuring, while coordinating with external advisors.
- Conduct valuation analysis and financial modeling for acquisition targets, joint ventures, and strategic investments.
- Prepare detailed presentations and investment memos for executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify market trends, competitive dynamics and potential acquisition targets or partnership opportunities; Develop actionable insights and recommendations to support company’s long term growth initiatives.
- Support the development and refinement of corporate strategy, assist in preparing materials for senior management and board discussions, and ensure alignment with business unit goals.
- Collaborate on post-merger integration, tracking acquired assets' performance and reporting on post-merger synergies.
Requirements for the role:
- Investment banking, big four TS/ M&A, private equity, corporate development, or management consulting with a focus on M&A transactions.
- Demonstrated experience in financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and deal structuring for M&A transactions.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.
