The predicted salary is between 60000 - 80000 € per year.
This role is available for 6 sessions / 24 hours per week. The post holder will work for GreenwichHealth, the GP Federation in Greenwich. Greenwich has 6 primary care networks (PCNs) with list sizes between 30,000 and 80,000 patients. The post holder will be employed by one of these PCNs, a grouping of 3‑7 practices, and will work across two member practices with a combined list of 10,000 patients.
Job responsibilities:
- Work across the PCN and participate in extended hours and hub working as required.
- Be available for surgery and online consultations, telephone queries, visits at home, checking and authorising repeat prescriptions, and managing paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.
- Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
- Develop care plans in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols.
- Provide counselling and health education.
- Admit or discharge patients and refer to other care providers as appropriate.
- Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.
- Compile and issue computer‑generated acute and repeat prescriptions.
- Prescribe in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary or generically when clinically appropriate.
- Attend to patients during surgery time in emergencies when clinically indicated.
- Undertake a fair share of on‑call sessions per week as allocated on the practice rota and participate in the extended hours enhanced service.
- Undertake a fair share of home‑visiting sessions per week as allocated.

Qualifications:
- Qualified GP MRCGP Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPT GP General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training – CCT).

- Evidence of current validation and last appraisal.
- Eligibility to practice in the UK independently.
