Grind is a hospitality company that lives in London. Since opening Shoreditch Grind in 2011, the brand has expanded across London with restaurants and café-bars, burning the candle at both ends to serve coffee, food, and cocktails to a killer soundtrack.

We are looking for experienced floor staff who are passionate about the hospitality industry and progressing their career. The atmosphere in Grind is fast-paced and vibrant, with a strong emphasis on quality service. As a GRIND floor staff member, you will be quick on your feet, confident in delivering our GRIND steps of service and never mind getting your hands dirty!

Availability: You must be available to work at least one weekend day, one weekday and one night per week.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide a memorable experience for any and every customer that visits
  • Maintain a positive and friendly approach to colleagues and customers
  • Possess full understanding of GRIND Steps of Service
  • Deliver exemplary service in line with our Steps of Service procedures
  • Adhere to company values and rules of professional conduct
  • Wear full and correct uniform always
  • Undertake regular training programs
  • Work to support a busy team and contribute to team-driven results

Skills Required:

  • Ability to work well under pressure and use initiative
  • Possess strong communication skills to enable effective dialogue with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to problem solve and escalate complaints accordingly
  • Dedicated team-player, who strives for excellence and leads by example
  • Strong time-management and prioritisation skills
