To assist us in this important role, we are seeking experienced grounds maintenance staff who have the relevant knowledge in horticulture and machinery use. You should be experienced in all aspects of general horticulture and familiar with working with the public. All necessary training will be provided.
Your duties will include:
- Shrub bed maintenance
- Grass cutting and brush cutting
- Pruning
- General grounds maintenance of Estates sites across the Borough
using the relevant tools and equipment provided whilst ensuring the safety of the public and the workforce at all times. A full driving licence would be an advantage. This role is predominantly in the Abbey Wood, Eltham and Blackheath areas.
