The business has exciting plans for growth both in the UK and globally over the coming years and the right candidate will play a pivotal role supporting strategic planning and operational decision‑making through high‑quality analysis. About the Role
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including full P&L responsibility, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Progressively automate reporting and streamline month‑end processes.
- Delivery of monthly reporting packs with KPIs, gross margin & overheads.
- Collaborate with finance to produce budgeting, forecasting & analysis.
- Work closely with the Financial Controller to deliver audit.
- Investigate costs across sales, material, and labour.
- Business Partner Operations, Production, Planning and other business departments.
- Develop and refine costing models, margin reports and KPIs.
- Manage ERP update and standardise management reporting processes once live.
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified.
Required Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and accounting systems).
- Relevant experience from a manufacturing/engineering/project‑based environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to deal with colleagues at all levels within the organisation.
- Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Desire to progress into a more commercially focused role once established with the business.
