About the Company

Incredible opening for a qualified and experienced Accountant/Finance professional to join a market leader in their field. The business has exciting plans for growth both in the UK and globally over the coming years and the right candidate will play a pivotal role supporting strategic planning and operational decision‑making through high‑quality analysis. This is a highly visible role with a clear plan of development and progression once established in the business.

About the Role

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including full P&L responsibility, balance sheet recs and variance.
• Progressively automate reporting and streamline month‑end processes.
• Delivery of monthly reporting packs with KPI’s, gross margin & overheads.
• Collaborate with finance to produce budgeting, forecasting & analysis.
• Work closely with the Financial Controller to deliver audit.
• Investigate costs across sales, material, labour.
• Business Partner Operations, Production, Planning and other business departments.
• Develop and refine costing models, margin reports and KPI’s.
• Manage ERP update and standardise management reporting processes once live.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified.

Required Skills

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and accounting systems).
• Relevant experience from a manufacturing/engineering/project‑based environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to deal with colleagues at all levels within the organisation.
• Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
• Desire to progress into a more commercially focussed role once established with the business.
